TVF Media is an independent multimedia company located in central London. It was launched in 1983[1] by Hilary Lawson as Television and Film Productions plc.[2]

It features television programming, international distribution, post production, communications for the healthcare and educational sectors, and video art.[3]

TVF created a number of award-winning programmes, including The World This Week, a weekly current-affairs show on Channel 4, and winner of the Gold Award at the New York Television and Film Festival.

TVF won The Emily Award[4] in 1991 at the American Film and Video Festival, and The Amnesty International Award in 1995 for best documentary.

TVF was described by the Hereford Times as "the UK's leading distributor of documentaries."[5]
