Lophoturus, is a genus of millipedes belonging to the family Lophoproctidae. There were 28 described species in genus Lophoturus worldwide.[1] Since then, three new species was found from Christmas Island, Australia,[2][3] one new species from China and three new species from the Caribbean and northern South America.[4] The total increases up to 33 in 2018.
