Josef Friedrich Schmidt (November 24, 1871 - September 28, 1948) was a German board game inventor.

Biography

Josef copied the Indian board game called Pachisi and rebranded it Mensch ärgere dich nicht. He plagiarized the game in 1907/1908.[citation needed]
