Barlyne is a locality in the North Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census, Barlyne had a population of 3 people.[1]
History
In the early 1890s, the Inman family selected land 7 miles (11 km) from Gayndah which they called Barlyne.[3] In 1917, the main industry was dairying but there were successful experiments with growing bananas, pawpaws and pineapples.[4][5]
