Harsh Vardhan (1 December 1947 – 4 October 2016) was a member of the 15th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Maharajganj constituency of Uttar Pradesh and is a member of the INC (Indian National Congress) political party.[1]

Education & background

Late Mr Harsh Vardhan MP, was an alumnus of Lucknow Sainik School and holds B.A. degree from Lucknow University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.[1] He died after a short illness on 4 October 2016.[2]

Family

His daughter[3] is Supriya Shrinate, who was executive editor with ET Now, the business channel of Times Television Network, before resigning to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections from Maharajganj[4] unsuccessfully[5] and was later appointed as the INC spokesperson.[6]
