Nguyễn Thu Thuỷ (born 1976 in Hanoi) was crowned the 4th Miss Vietnam in 1994 when she was a first year student at the Institute For International Relations in Hanoi. Nguyễn Thu Thuỷ was born into an intelligentsia family. Her father and mother were civil servants in VietNam of Language Institute. Nguyễn Thu Thuỷ is 1.72 metres (5 ft 8 in) tall and was one of the favorites during that edition, she also got the best answer award in the competition. Thu Thuỷ studied business administration in the United States for 2 years and now owns a beauty salon in Hanoi.
