Plaza Vea is the largest chain of supermarkets from Supermercados Peruanos S.A., which is the second largest retail company in Peru. Plaza Vea is the Largest Supermarket chain in Peru with 102 stores in the whole country.[2]

About Plaza Vea

The stores of this chain has three concepts:

Plaza Vea Hiper

This one is the most important label of Plaza Vea and Supermercados Peruanos has big stores approx. more than 5000 square metres, the first one was opened at Jockey Plaza in Lima in 2001. The largest store of the label is in the city of Trujillo, the store has more than 10,000 square metres. As of January 2018, Plaza Vea Hiper has 43 stores in Lima/Callao and 32 stores in other cities.

Plaza Vea Super

Is the supermarkets label of Plaza Vea. As of January 2018, there are 19 stores in Lima/Callao and 6 stores in provinces.

Plaza Vea Express

Has two stores in Lima: The first one in Magdalena district (express Bolognesi), and the second one in San Isidro district (express Residencial Santa Cruz). Both were Mass until 2013.
