Árni Bergmann-is an author of novels and memoirs born on 22 August 1935. He received his M.A. in Moscow, Russia, in 1962. He has worked as an editor, journalist, and TV writer as well as his general writing. He is also a student of Soviet literature.

Thorvald the Widely-Travelled is his best regarded recent work.
