Located in Lebanon, Tennessee, Lebanon High School is part of the Wilson County School System.[3] It is a 9-12 grade public school, available to all students in the city limits of Lebanon and other students residing in surrounding small towns. (As a high school, it is not part of the Lebanon Special School District which was created by special act of the Tennessee General Assembly in 1901 to provide education for pre-kindergarten through the 8th grade.[4]) It is rated 2 (below state average) on a scale of 1-10 by greatschools.org.[5]

In January 2018, Lebanon High School received widespread criticism from the public when the school's principal, Scott Walters, controversially gave two days in-school suspension to a female student who posted a YouTube video to create awareness of Walter’s dismissive response against bullying.[6]
