Albert and Me is a British radio series that had a pilot and eight episodes in 1977, and another eight episodes in 1983. The 17 half-hour-long episodes were broadcast on BBC Radio 2. It starred Richard Beckinsale and Pat Coombs. Richard Beckinsale played Bryan Archer who was a single parent struggling to find a job and to bring up his child with the help of his mother played by Pat Coombs (who also played baby Albert).[1]

Albert and Me returned in 1983, after more than five years on hiatus. As Richard Beckinsale had died in 1979, Robert Lindsay assumed the lead role for the second series.[1]

The writer was Jim Eldridge.[1] BBC Radio 4 Extra has run repeats of the show in recent times.
