Chhota Chhindwara, also known as Gotegaon, is a town Nagar Palika[1] in Narsinghpur district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It comes under Jabalpur division. It is near Jabalpur by 55 km.

It has a rural influence because residents are mostly involved in agriculture.

The famous temples in Gotegaon are Thakur baba Mandir, Ram Mandir, Gourishankar Mandir, Singh bahini Devi Mandir and Khair Mai Mandir.

One can also watch Jagdish Mandir at Shrinagar village 14 km away from Gotegaon.

Jhoteshwar (Paramhanshi ganga Ashram)

Located 18 KM away from Gotegaon and well connected through public transports. There is a naturally rich, very gorgeous temple of golden Raj- Rajeshwari tripur sundari. It is the tapostahali of Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati.

There are Jhoteshwar temple, Lodheshwar temple, Hanuman tekari, rock, Shivling made up of slohutic. It is a place when Jagatguru Shankaracharya joytesh & Dwarkadish pithadheshwar Saraswati Maharaj meditate and worship. On the Basant Panchami occasion, there are 7 days of Mela organized

The Jhanshi Ghat at the jivandayini Holi River "Narmada" is 12 km away from Gotegaon.

There is railway station named Shridham located in this town. Many Superfast and Express trains halt here.
