Frank Wisbar (born Franz Wysbar 9 December 1899 – 17 March 1967) was a German film director and screenwriter.

Born in Lithuania,[1] Wisbar directed more than 20 films between 1932 and 1967 in Germany and the United States, as well as amassing many television credits.[citation needed] He created TV's Fireside Theatre and was the show's producer in addition to frequently directing and writing episodes.[1]

He was a member of the jury at the 10th Berlin International Film Festival.[2]
