Nahar may refer to:

  • Nahar, meaning river (נהר), in Hebrew.
  • Nahar or Nahr (نهر) also means river in Arabic.
  • In Persian and Urdu it is also used. Naharu or Nehru is derived from "Nahar/Nehar", for persons who live on a bank of a canal or river.
  • Nahār with a lengthened second syllable means day (نهار), in Arabic.
