Neha Sharad is an Indian television actor and poet.[1] She has worked in TV shows, including Tara,[2] Waqt ki Raftar,[3] Mamta,[4] Gumraah,[3]Yeh Duniya Ghazab Ki[5] and Farmaan.[5]

Life

Neha was born in Bhopal and grew up in Bombay. She is a daughter of writer Padma Shri Sharad Joshi[6] and theatre artist Irfana Siddiqui.[7] She was involved in the 2009 TV series, Lapataganj, as a creative head, as the initial episodes were based on her father's works.[8][9]

She has organized literary festivals, such as Sharadotsav, to commemorate her father's works.[10]
