The 1990 Missouri Valley Conference Men's Basketball Tournament was played at Redbird Arena in Normal, Illinois after the conclusion of the 1989–1990 regular season. The Illinois State Redbirds won their 2nd MVC Tournament title to earn an automatic bid to the 1990 NCAA Tournament.
