The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is an Australian Federal Government agency formed on 14 October 2016,[1] succeeding the previous Digital Transformation Office.[2] The agency has the stated goal of overseeing the "Digital Transformation Strategy" for the Australian Government to become "one of the leading digital governments in the world by 2025".[3] Generally the agency oversees various interdepartmental government projects and provides consultancy and products to other official bodies. Notable projects of the DTA include myGov,[4] Coronavirus Australia,[5] and a CloudFoundry based cloud computing platform named cloud.gov.au.[6] Additionally the DTA, in conjunction with Services Australia, is developing a myGov replacement currently titled "Government Digital Experience Platform" (GOVDXP).[7][8]
