Vivette Girault (born 1943)[1] is a French mathematician, whose research expertise lies in numerical analysis, finite element methods and computational fluid dynamics. She is affiliated with Pierre and Marie Curie University.[2]

Books

Girault is the co-author of:

  • Finite Element Approximation of the Navier–Stokes Equations (with P.-A. Raviart, 1979, Springer)[3]
  • Finite Element Methods for Navier–Stokes Equations: Theory and Algorithms (with P.-A. Raviart, 1986, Springer)[4]
  • Mechanics and Mathematics of Fluids of the Differential Type (with D. Cioranescu and K.R. Rajagopal, 2016. Springer)[5]
