The Hit List is a 2012 Indian action film written, directed and produced by Bala (in his directorial debut). It is a remake of the 2011 British film Blitz starring Jason Statham. The film was simultaneously produced in Malayalam and Kannada languages. Dhruv and Aishwarya Devan play the lead roles in Kannada, while Aiswarya Devan pairs with Bala himself in the Malayalam version.[1] Unni Mukundan appears in a guest role.[2] The film's music was composed by Alphons Joseph.

The film completed production in late-June 2012. It was released on 7 December 2012.

The film's music was composed by Alphons Joseph, with lyrics by Srikanth in Kannada, Santhosh Varma and Jophy Tharakan in Malayalam along with San Jaimt who has written and performed the rap verses.
