Mečichov is a village and municipality (obec) in Strakonice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 8.85 square kilometres (3.42 sq mi), and has a population of 243 (as at 3 July 2006).

Mečichov lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) north-west of Strakonice, 65 km (40 mi) north-west of České Budějovice, and 94 km (58 mi) south-west of Prague.
