Taurob GmbH is an Austrian robot maker best known for its taurob tracker robots and for winning Total S.A.'s ARGOS Challenge (together with TU Darmstadt). [1]

It was founded in 2010 by Lukas Silberbauer and Matthias Biegl [2] with the aim of developing robots for fire fighters. Since then the company has expanded to other domains such as police, civil-defence, military and the oil and gas industry.[3][4][5]
