Radhika Khanna is an Indian American fashion designer,[1] entrepreneur and author.[2][3][4] Khanna is the author of Yoga: From the Ganges to Wall Street.

Early life

Radhika Khanna was born and raised in Amritsar, India. She is the daughter of Bindu and Davinder Khanna.[5]

Career

In 1999 Khanna moved to New York City from Amritsar, to study at Fashion Institute of Technology. While studying full-time, she worked in restaurants in Manhattan to support herself and her education.[6] After graduating from FIT, she interned with Donna Karan, before starting her own clothing company, Estilo Inc. in 2005.[7][8]

Khanna designed outfits for American TV show Kitchen Nightmares.[9] Khanna was one of the designers and supporters at Runway to win with Anna Wintour and Scarlett Johansson.[10][11]

Personal life

Khanna lives in Midtown Manhattan. She is an active participant in the national campaign to find a cure for lupus,[12] through the Lupus foundation of America.[13] She is also a Yoga expert and has promoted Yoga at the Lupus Foundation of America.[14][15]
