Shankarrao Mohite-Patil was an Indian politician and member of the Indian National Congress. He was a first term member of the Bombay State Legislative Assembly from 1952 to 1960 as well as in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from 1960 to 1972. He four time MLA from Akluj (Vidhan Sabha constituency)

He was father of former Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Vijaysinh Mohite–Patil & Pratapsinh Mohite-Patil as well as grandfather of Ranjitsinh Mohite-Patil who was the first president of the state unit of Nationalist Youth Congress.[1][2][3][4][5]
