Olešná is a village and municipality (obec) in Pelhřimov District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 12.73 square kilometres (4.92 sq mi), and has a population of 553 (as at 28 August 2006).
Olešná lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) east of Pelhřimov, 25 km (16 mi) west of Jihlava, and 94 km (58 mi) south-east of Prague. From January 1, 1980 to November 23, 1990, the village, together with its areas of Chválov, Plevnice and Řemenov, was administratively part of the town of Pelhřimov.[1]
