It had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 28, 2019 and was theatrically released in the United States on October 4, 2019, by A24.

It had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 28, 2019.[2] A24 and DirecTV Cinema will distribute the film.[3] It will be released in the United States through DirecTV Cinema on September 5, 2019, before being released in a limited release on October 4, 2019.[4]
