William Hennessy (born 13 May 1968) is a former Irish sportsman who played hurling for his local club Tullaroan and the Kilkenny intercounty side. Hennessy won senior All-Ireland medals with Kilkenny in 1992 and 1993, and was team captain for the year 1995 in which Kilkenny won the National Hurling League.[1]
