Dmytro Vorona (born 24 July 1980 in Donetsk) is a Ukrainian politician, civil servant and lawyer

Education

In 2001 he graduated from Donetsk National University as a specialist in law and in 2014 received a degree of Doctor of Law.

Career

He started his career in 1996 as legal adviser. Then he was an Assistant of the Head of Krasnogvardiyskiy District Court in the town of Makiyivka of Justice Department in the Donetsk Region, a lawyer, head of legal companies, arbitration administrator.

In 2006 he was appointed as a Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection of Ukraine.

From March 2010 was a Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

In February 2012 he was appointed as a Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine.[1]

From 2013 to 2014 was a Chairman of the State Registration Service of Ukraine.[2]

During his work he has taken a number of legislative initiatives and progressive steps to reform the system of administrative services and the introduction of "e- services".

Charity

Since 2014 he is engaged in the practice of law and charity. At the same time he established law firms specializing in providing consulting and legal services in the most common areas of law. In 2015 he founded the "Orthodox Heritage of Ukraine on Mount Athos", charity fund the aim of which is to give help to restore and preserve the history and memory of the Sanctuary, Mount Athos, to become a platform for discussion of the scientists and future prospects of working towards identifying and studying materials that reveal the history of the Mount Athos monasteries, their relationships with each other and with the outside world, the contribution of the Slavic people in the general treasury of Mount Athos and the Orthodox world.

Honors

Awarded by the diploma of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Order of Merit of 3rd degree.
