The European legume miner bee[1] (Andrena wilkella) is a species of miner bee in the family Andrenidae.[2][3][4][5] Its original distribution is Europe. It has been accidentally introduced to North America long ago, possibly with ship ballast.[5][2] It is active between April and August. Nests singly in group aggregations. Preferentially collects pollen from clover and sweet clover (Fabaceae).

Size: female 10-12 mm and male 9-11 mm.
