Guy-America Airways was an airline operating scheduled passenger flights between New York John F. Kennedy International Airport and Cheddi Jagan International Airport serving Georgetown, Guyana. For a very short time, the company flew to Europe as well under the name American Overseas Airlines.
According to its Sept. 1, 1981 timetable, the airline was operating three round trip nonstop flights a week between New York (JFK) and Cheddi Jagan International Airport (GEO) and was offering "the only non-stop" service.[1]
