Mizuho Kusanagi (草凪 みずほ) is a Japanese manga artist. She was born in Kumamoto on 3 February 1979. Her first series, Yoiko no Kokoroe, was published in 2003. Her series are generally Shōjo manga. Yona of the Dawn was adapted into an anime in 2014 by Studio Pierrot which received a 24 episode series, an OVA episode in 2015, and an adaption of the Zeno Arc in 2016. Yona of the Dawn has remained as her most popular series.
