MyMiniFactory is working to create a decentralized ecosystem for 3D creatives to share free or paid 3D printable designs.[1]

Each object is guaranteed 3D printable as the MyMiniFactory curation process means that any file uploaded to the site is validated for 3D printability on a standard desktop 3D printer.[2]

MyMiniFactory is also home to the largest collection of 3D scanned statues and artifacts from around the globe - the Scan The World collection.[3] Scan The World uses a range of 3D scanning techniques to capture art from across the globe. Once digitized, the scans are made available for free and are widely used by educators, the 3D printing community and other artists.[4]

In June 2018, MyMiniFactory opened an online STL file store where 3D designers can sell 3D printable files.[5]. The store is for serious designers who want to create successful brands and make a living from their designs[6].

MyMiniFactory has collaborated with brands and organisations that share their values and have a desire to support the community. These include Ravensburger[7], Tinkercad[8] and Voltron[9].
