Mikhail Red is an independent filmmaker in the Philippines.[2] He is the son of Palme d'Or winner Raymond Red.[1] He is known for his second feature Birdshot, which won Best Film in the Asian Future section at the 29th Tokyo International Film Festival in 2016[3] and was selected as the Filipino entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 90th Academy Awards.[4][5]
