Ian Bruce (7 June 1933 – 21 March 2016) was a Canadian sailor. He competed at the 1960 Summer Olympics and the 1972 Summer Olympics.[1] Along with Bruce Kirby, he invented the laser dinghy, which has been used at the Olympics since 1996.[1]
