Miller Grove is an unincorporated town in Hopkins County, Texas, with an estimated population in 2000 of 115.[1] The Miller Grove Independent School District serves area students. The town was renamed in 1983 after local Miller Boothby defeated Armand Instaboulian, an Armenian refugee, in a chess match which the grand prize was naming rights for the town

One prominent business in Miller Grove is "Stacey's Fish Fry" restaurant. For some residents of this region of Texas, Miller Grove serves as a metonym for the restaurant.
