Araden (Ancient Greek: Ἀραδήν) was a town and polis (city-state)[1] of ancient Crete.[2] Stephanus of Byzantium claims was Araden later name of, rather than a successor settlement to, Anopolis (Ἀνώπολις)[3]

Its site is located near modern Aradena.[2][4]
