Shraddha Nigam (born 1 October 1979) is an Indian film and television actress.[2]

Personal life

Shraddha completed her education from Indore and studied Fashion Designing from Symbiosis International University in Pune. In 2008 Shraddha married Karan Singh Grover. They were divorced in 2009.[3] In 2012 December Shraddha married Mayank Anand;[4] the couple have jointly owned a fashion line since 2011 and have plans for joint furniture design and interior design.[5]

Career

Shraddha's film debut was Poonilamazha, a 1997 Malayalam film. Her Hindi debut was in Josh in 2000. She later acted in few Hindi films. Her TV debut was the serial Choodiyan.[6] The Times of India wrote that her role as the female lead in Krishna Arjun "stole hearts".[5] In 2010, Shraddha began to focus on her fashion design line.[7] In 2012, she was offered a role opposite Anuj Saxena in a show produced by Bhairavi Raichura.[8]
