Lenzburg is a railway station in the municipality of Lenzburg in the Swiss canton of Aargau.[1][2]
The station is located on the Heitersberg Railway, part of the Zurich to Olten main line, to the west of the junction with the Aargauische Südbahn and to the east of the junction with the Zofingen–Wettingen line. The Seetal line, which, despite being a standard gauge Swiss Federal Railways line, retains some characteristics of a roadside tramway, terminates at a platform across the street from the main station.[2]
Services
The following services stop at Lenzburg:[3]
- EuroCity: single daily round-trip between Basel SBB and München Hauptbahnhof.
- InterRegio/RegioExpress: half-hourly service between Aarau and Zürich Hauptbahnhof; InterRegio trains continue from Aarau to Basel SBB.
- Zürich S-Bahn S11: hourly service between Aarau and Seuzach; rush-hour service to Wila.
- Aargau S-Bahn:
- Lucerne S-Bahn S9: half-hourly service to Lucerne.
