Wolf Girl (also known as Blood Moon)[1] is a 2001 made-for-television horror film directed by Thom Fitzgerald and written by Lori Lansens. An international co-production of Canada and Romania, it stars Tim Curry,[2] Victoria Sanchez, Grace Jones, and Lesley Ann Warren. The film's plot concerns a girl who travels with a freak show because of her rare genetic disorder known as hypertrichosis.

Plot

Tara, an otherwise normal teenage girl, has a disease causing hair to grow all over her body and her face. She was born into a traveling freak show circus. As "Wolf Girl", she is the main attraction as Wolf Girl. Tara, often humiliated by local teens, finds a friend in Ryan, whose mother happens to work on an experimental depilatory treatment. Longing to be normal, Tara injects herself with the drug, but is unaware of the dangerous side effects.
