Maya Widmaier-Picasso (Boulogne-Billancourt, France, 1935) is the daughter of Spanish painter Pablo Ruiz Picasso and Marie-Thérèse Walter. She has devoted part of her life to the study and preservation of the legacy of her father.

Maya is notably represented in the series of Picasso paintings Maya à la poupée.

She was married to Pierre Widmaier and has had three children: Olivier, Richard, and Diana. Diana Widmaier Picasso is an art historian specialized in the work of her grandfather Pablo Picasso.

In 2017, Gagosian Gallery presented in Paris the exhibition Picasso and Maya: Father and Daughter, curated by Diana Widmaier Picasso. It was the first exhibition devoted to Picasso's portraits of his eldest daughter.[1]
