Yoane Wissa (born 3 September 1996) is a French professional footballer who plays as a forward for FC Lorient.[1][2]

Club career

As a youth, Wissa began as a goalkeeper for his local youth club Épinay-sous-Sénart, and switched to midfield before being played as a forward.[3] Wissa was trained Châteauroux.[4] Wissa made his professional debut in a 1–1 tie for Angers against Rennes on 19 November 2016.[5]

Personal life

Wissa was born in France and is of Congolese descent,[6] and can speak the Lingala language.[7]
