The National Independent Venue Association is an American organization of independent music venues[1] based in New York, New York[2] pursuing federal support such as business recovery grants and tax relief.[1] According to the organization, which was formed in March 2020,[3] 90% of its 1300 members can not last more than six months without federal intervention, with 55% saying that they do not have enough capital to sustain themselves for more than three months.[1]
