Andrea Aureli (5 March 1923 - 5 November 2007 in Rome) was an Italian actor.

Life and career

Born in Terni, Aureli graduated from the Liceo classico in his hometown, then he enrolled the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, graduating in 1947.[1] Since the early 1950s he began an intense career as a character actor, being often cast in roles of villains and antagonists.[1] In genre films, he was sometimes credited with the stage name Andrew Ray.[1] He was also active in television films and series. He retired from acting in 1998. He died in Rome on 5 November 2007 at 84 years old.[1] His son Marco is a camera operator and an occasional actor.[1]
