WDCG-FM-HD2, known on-air as Alt 95.3, is an alternative rock radio station licensed to Durham, North Carolina. The station is operated by iHeartMedia (formerly Clear Channel Communication). It began broadcasting in November, 2012 on the HD subcarrier of WDCG, which emphasizes a more Top 40 radio format. The station's nickname references translator station W237BZ at FM 95.3 in Clayton. A second translator, W236CA in Durham, began simulcasting on 95.1 in late 2015.[1][2][3]
