Chart history

Remixes, covers and sampling

Hot Chocolate released a remixed version of the song on their 1987 album 2001; the remix reached #67 in the UK. A 1999 version of the song by Electrotheque reached #85 in the UK.[13]

Insane Clown Posse sampled sections of "Every 1's A Winner" for their song "The Mighty Death Pop!", [14] as did Girl Talk, on his song "Give Me a Beat".[15]

Scottish rock band Gun recorded a cover of the song in 2015, as part of the re-release of their album Frantic.[16] The song was later included on their best-of compilation R3L0ADED in 2019.[17]
