Alexa Demie (born December 11, 1994)[1] is a Mexican/American actress best known for her role as Maddy Perez in the HBO drama series Euphoria.

Early life

Demie was born and raised in Los Angeles, California by her single mother, a make-up artist.[2] She is of Mexican descent on her mother's side and of Jewish descent on her father's side.[3][4]

Career

Demie has guest starred on TV series such as Ray Donovan, Love, and The OA.[5]

In 2018, Demie appeared in Mid90s.[6] In 2019, she began starring as Maddy Perez in the HBO drama series Euphoria.[7][8]

In August 2018, [9] joined the cast of Waves[10] alongside Sterling K. Brown and that of Mainstream, directed by Gia Coppola.[11]
