Lee Chean Chung [1](simplified Chinese: 李健聪; traditional Chinese: 李健聰; pinyin: Lǐ Jiàn Cōng) was born and raised in Kuantan, Pahang. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering (with Honours) from Multimedia University (MMU), he went on to pursue a Master Program (on full scholarships) in Transportation & Logistics at Malaysia University of Science & Technology (MUST).[2] In 2019, he completed his Master in Public Administration (MPA) from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.[3]

Chean Chung had worked in a US & Hong Kong-based company before getting himself involved in political movements. He joined the Political Studies for Change Unit (KPRU) as a Research Officer after the 12th General Election (GE12) held on March 8, 2008. Currently, he is the Treasurer General of People's Justice Party (KEADILAN), Vice Chairman of State Liaison Committee in the State of Pahang and also Chairman for Indera Mahkota Division.[4]

Chean Chung – active in environmental movement, had been the Media Chief for Stop Lynas Coalition (SLC) as well as Publicity Chief for Himpunan Hijau 2.0.

Chean Chung always believes that we should give ourselves a chance to change for the better. He is confident that his home town – Kuantan will become better than what it is today with this positive thinking and value in mind.

At the 13th General Election held on May 5, 2013, Lee Chean Chung is elected as the State Assemblyman of Semambu Constituency in Pahang, defeating a two-term incumbent from the ruling coalition with 3,200 majority.[5]. In 2018, again he retained the seat with a bigger majority of 5,511 votes.
