Sivrihisar Aviation Center (Turkish: Sivrihisar Havacılık Merkezi), Necati Artan Facilities, is an airpark located at Sivrihisar, Eskişehir, Türkiye.
History
Founded in 2013 under the Directorate General of Civil Aviation's SHY-6C article, [1] started to operate in year 2014. In 2014, 800 meters long runway 05/23 was constructed and was extended to 1810 meters longs in 2016.
The airpark became home to M.S.Ö. Air & Space Museum in 2018. [2]
Events
The biggest event organized at the airpark is the annual SHG Airshows, which was attended by 56,000 in 2019. [3] The other events organized include SHY Air Race, Fly-Inn, Children's Day Paper Plane Contest and Flying Villages [4] .
