David Goldflies is a bassist and former member of The Allman Brothers Band. [1] He performed with Dickey Betts and Great Southern in the mid-1970s and joined the Brothers when they reformed in 1978. He played bass in the group until the Allmans' disbanded for a second time in 1982. Immediately after the Brothers' split, Goldflies performed with Gregg Allman's solo band in 1982 and joined BLHT, a project featuring former ABB members Dickey Betts, Chuck Leavell and Butch Trucks.[2] He currently plays with the Allman Goldflies Band and A Brothers Revival.
