Bagatza is a station of line 2 of Metro Bilbao. It is located in the neighbourhood of Santa Teresa, in the municipality of Barakaldo.[2] in close proximity to San Eloy Hospital and the music conservatory. It opened on 13 April, 2002.

Station layout

Barakaldo station follows the typical cavern-shaped layout of most underground Metro Bilbao stations designed by Norman Foster, with the main hall located directly above the rail tracks.
