The 2009–10 A1 Grand Prix of Nations, Australia, was to have been part of the Nikon SuperGP, and a round of A1 Grand Prix at the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit on the Gold Coast of Queensland in Australia. It would have opened the fifth season of A1GP.[1]

With the cars and series infrastructure still in London just five days before racing was to have begun it was announced on 17 October 2009 that the opening round at Surfers Paradise in Australia was to be cancelled.[2]
