McBee High School is a public secondary school serving grades 6 through 12[3] in McBee, South Carolina, United States. The school is located on McBee's west side, near the intersection of Highway 151 and 1. It has an approximate enrollment of 500 students, and is one of four high schools under the jurisdiction of Chesterfield County Public School District.
McBee High's curriculum offers a range of advanced placement, honors, college preparatory, academic and applied technology courses. Fine arts programs in band, chorus, and visual arts are strong.
Athletics
McBee High offers a variety of sports including football, golf, cross country, boys' and girls' basketball, track, baseball, softball, volleyball, cheerleading, archery, and girls' tennis. The annual football game between McBee High and Chesterfield High is one of the most heated games of the season and always draws a huge crowd.
The school's athletic field, Panther Memorial Stadium, is the second largest stadium in Chesterfield County. It was built in 1942 and rebuilt in 1972. A new Panther Stadium was built in 2006-2007 because the old stadium no longer met building codes. The old stadium was demolished in 2008. The stadium holds 7000 people. It is used for band competitions as well as football games.
National FFA Organization
McBee High School is home to one of the premier local chapters of the National FFA Organization. Under the leadership of E.B. Earle and his son W. Patrick Earle, the chapter has a more than 40-year history of excellence at local, state, and national levels. Several student representatives from the chapter travel to the National FFA Convention each year.
Mascot
The MHS official mascot is the black panther, and the school colors are black and red.

Current enrollment is approximately 490. Student-teacher ratio is 15:3. The average class size is 24.
Students come from two elementary schools, McBee Elementary School[4] and Plainview Elementary School[5].
98% of the Class of 2006 chose college immediately after graduation.
